Indonesia PASTI BISA Safeguards Oxygen, a collaborative movement initiated by East Ventures to support effort in COVID-19 patient care, has started to distribute 200 out of 1,000 oxygen concentrators to 33 hospitals in 10 provinces of Indonesia since 17 July 2021. The 10 provinces include Jakarta, Banten, Yogyakarta, West Java, East Java, Central Java, South Sumatra, Lampung, Papua, and West Nusa Tenggara. The geographic distribution of these oxygen concentrators were coordinated and prioritized alongside Indonesia’s Ministry of Health.
The 200 units of oxygen concentrators arrived at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Indonesia on the evening of 13 July 2021. They were then picked up by Indonesia PASTI BISA team to a warehouse of Waresix, a logistic tech startup and one of Indonesia PASTI BISA technology partners, on 14 July 2021 at East Jakarta.
Indonesia PASTI BISA ensures the swift distribution of oxygen concentrators with optimal transparency by leveraging the tracking system of Advotics, an Indonesian based SaaS startup specializing in supply chain. As one of Indonesia PASTI BISA’s technology partners, Advotics enables easy tracking of each unit of oxygen concentrator from the warehouse to destination hospitals thanks to the QR Code label sticked on each unit. The public can monitor the delivery status on Indonesia PASTI BISA’s website.
Fundraising activity began in 12 July 2021. As of Monday, 19 July 2021 at 9 PM (GMT+7), Indonesia PASTI BISA has raised US$ 477,075 from 595 donors, or around 47% of the target of US$ 1 million. Donations will remain open until 26 July 2021 at 9 AM (GMT+7).
