5 East Ventures-backed Media Startups That Want to Revolutionize the Way You Consume Content
11 April 2019
The ways we enjoyed content like news and entertainment used to be limited to television, radio, magazines, and newspapers. This has changed. In today’s internet era, people prefer to view content on an internet-connected device, especially a smartphone. The types of content that they consume are also changing.
This revolution has opened up huge opportunities for young startups to enter and conquer the market. East Ventures has seen the potential of this sector since 2010 when it started to invest in several startups. Right now, there are five active media startups in our portfolio, with two of them in the growth stage.
IDN Media is the leading multi-platform media startup for Millennials and Gen Z in Indonesia.
