East Ventures (“we”, “our”, ”us” or ”EV”) is committed to respecting and protecting your personal data. This Personal Data Protection Statement sets out the basis on which we collect, use, disclose, store and/or process your personal data. 

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
We collect various types of personal data. As used in this Statement, “personal data” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified: a) from that data; or b) from that data and other information to which we (and all our affiliates, partners, subsidiaries and all relevant third parties mentioned in this Statement) have or are likely to have access.

Personal data includes, without limitation, an individual’s name, position name or title, business telephone number, business address, business electronic mail address or business fax number and any other similar information about the individual, not provided by the individual solely for his personal purposes.

We may collect your personal data such as personal information directly from you, your authorized representatives, third parties or by any other means.  Such personal data may be provided to us in forms filled out by individuals, face to face meetings, email messages, telephone conversations, through our websites or provided by third parties. If any individuals contact us, we may keep a record of that contact.

USE OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
We use your personal data to enable us to provide our services, send information on our services, for the purpose of audit, to comply with the regulatory obligations or industry codes, and to fulfill any lawful basis for processing as required under applicable data protection laws.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
We may share your personal data (including your name, the organization that you belong to, photographs), with and among our affiliates, partners or with unaffiliated third parties including our third-party service providers, and relevant government agencies and/or regulatory authorities, whether in Singapore or abroad, in connection with the aforementioned purposes, and in accordance with the lawful basis for processing under applicable data protection laws.  We do not disclose personal data to third parties except when required by law, when we have your consent or deemed consent, or in cases where we have engaged third parties such as data intermediaries or subcontractors specifically to assist with our firm’s activities.  Any such third parties whom we engage will be bound contractually to keep all information confidential.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We will only retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected or to comply with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.  We have implemented security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
